OK, who do I need to call and what do I need to do before close
As for utilities and everything with the house. We're closing next Friday, when and who do I need to call to get everything in order?

We didn't know what to do either so we took it upon ourselves to call Lipa, Nat'l Grid & Water to make sure they stayed on & switched to our name for day of closing.

We didn't know what to do either so we took it upon ourselves to call Lipa, Nat'l Grid & Water to make sure they stayed on & switched to our name for day of closing.

We called national grid, lipa, water, and that was it.

That's pretty much it. If you plan on keeping the same cable/phone/internet provider I would let them know you're moving and set up a day to switch everything. You may not not need to have them do anything if you have all the boxes.
