You should be closing within a week or two at the absolute most. Most brokers can close 24 hrs after they receive that.

We are now in contract. The seller signed last week and they told us we would close on or about august 31st

I'm sorry I wasn't clear usually on or within 30 days of your contract date too. I thought you meant the contract date had already come.

We got the info 2 weeks after the on or about date on our contract, and we closed the next week.
