ok, this is going to sound AWFUL

but sometimes, do you wish you were still single, and imagine what your life would be if you were?

I do SOMETIMES. But I love my husband to death, and love my life. I just look back and think of my single life, how much fun I had, how many more friends I had, how I ALWAYS had stuff to do.

I hope I dont sound like an azz, and that I wish my life were different. But I do daydream sometimes.

i don't think it sounds awful. but to answer the question, no, i don't wish i was single. life kind of sucked when i was single. not that life is all sunshine and roses now, but its better then it was

i do think about that. i think about how much fun i had when i was single, but then i think about how much i love being married. when i go out sometimes with friends to a bar or something i think, thank god i am not doing this all the time when i was single, i am way too old for this and my life has gotten much better.

I did and now i am....Ok it really wasn't that way..well sort of

I just hope one day I can find a man that is decent and loving .

I would not change a think. I guess I just reminisce about how much fun I had when I was younger, and realize I am going to be 30 soon.

but more of a wishing i could relive years 25-30

i had an fantabulously awesome time..

and yes a lot of that has changed since i got married...
well actually a year or so before getting married..

But i soooooooooo MISS my wild and crazy days of yester year

When I was single I always thought about what life would be like married-- even though I loved my single life. I think it's totally normal and I do think about what my life would be like-- who I'd want to date and who'd want to date me! I also feel like I was a bit more fun then, than as an old married lady.

My years of 18-21 consisted of going out 4 nights a week in NYC, pulling all nighters and going to work. Clubs on the weekends with rock star treatment. Dinners, drinks, etc.


But now I get to spend my time with someone I love, and it beats ALL of that.

But I admit, those times were SO much fun.

No, only because I would be a 30 year old single with friends in their thirties....probably wouldn't be like it was when we were wild in our twenties

I do miss the days of going out, and getting loaded at the bar. When I get really buzzed I say the funniest crap.

I would not change things, but when I look back at my pre-DH days, I do get a little wistful sometimes because I had it pretty good- great apartment, friends, enough money to travel and go out.

What bothers me, and what I wish I could change is the fact that I wish I'd try to enjoy that time more, instead of worrying so about meeting Mr. Right. I didn't fully appreciate what I had when I had it.

I know what you mean - I daydream sometimes but I am completely happy that in the end I am with my DH.

I was WILD to say the least in my late teens and 20s....I am glad I had my fun and went nuts and I am settled now. Sometimes I wish I could go back for a day or 2 but not because I dont want to be with DH but I loved the fact that I didnt have much responsibility back then.

I've tried to imagine what my life would be like and I honestly can't. Things are just too good now and I know a single life without DH and Christopher wouldn't even come close.

No I don't miss being single. I love the stage I'm in right now, married with a baby on the way. I do miss the carefree days of my early 20s, no responsibility going out all the time. But I wouldn't trade now for then for anything.
