Ok, so we've taken a GIANT step backwards here...
In October, we were told at DS' 5 month appoinment to cut out his nighttime feedings to only before 11pm and after 5am. We did really well (I did slightly amend it because he was having his last bottle at 7pm and waking at 4am and since I work, I will feed him at 4am and not fight for one hour).
But the past two weeks have gotten really bad again, he doesn't want bottles during the day--at all. He will take babyfood, but he has only been eating like 12oz during the day. He is waking again at 2-3am and then again at 6-7am and drinking the entire bottle.
I really don't know what to do about it right now. He screams "A BA A BA A BA" for HOURS if we let him (and he is really good at self-soothing, I always put him down to bed at night awake).
And I am just so tired from working overtime that sometimes I can't fight him and just go feed him...
What do I do??

I think drs are crazy when it comes to feedings. I say give them what they want when they want it. They told me to give Gilly 1 oz upon leaving the hospital she screamed and screamed until I gave in the next day to 3-4 ozs and in the end a yr later...Gillian doesnt have a weight problem and is a very healthy baby. i say do what works for your family.

See, it was SO much better when he wasn't waking up. He took 4-5 8oz bottles a day at regular times and I wasn't a zombie from getting up so much (one night this week I went to bed at 11:30pm, was up at 1am, 2am, 4am and 5am and up for work at 6:30am )
He has such a good "schedule" for him. Now he eats 2oz here, 3oz there and that's it during the day.

Try giving him a bottle an hour before each meal and one last one at bedtime.

I agree...give the kid what he wants! Doctors don't know everything.

Heres what ya do...is he eating cereals? Right before bed...spoon feed him some mixed cerea or rice and see what happens. I bet he wont be too hungry in the middle of the night.

I agree as well!
Steven is a GREAT eater and always was. BUT when he was teething...it was like anything goes. He was so sporadic. And, Christopher's at the age where he's constantly teething. (at least I remember that's how steven was - teething more than not!). I know it's difficult, I've been there.
