OK, need opinions...
My family has always had holiday traditions, in terms of having holidays at the same places...ever since I was little. My mom always has a really nice Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, and we go to my sisters for brunch on Christmas day. DH's family never did anything special. So, my mom invites his mom for Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve (and also St. Patrick's Day, and she comes to all of them). Now DH is saying that if his mom wants to see us on Christmas that maybe she could come to my sisters for brunch. I say if she wants to see us on Christmas she can come over our house in the afternoon, and that I would like some traditions to remain just my family.
Am I being a baby?

I would feel the same way but she is part of your family... I would eventually give in. The more the merrier

I think it would be OK for her to go to your sister's for brunch. It's just her - not a whole clan of people.

for me, I think it would depend on how my sister felt about it. Your mom invited you MIL to her events, so I think it is fair to allow your sister to invite who she wants to her house. If my sister was OK with it, I would go along with having her come, but if my sister wanted to just keep it to our family, I would respect her wishes.
