Waiting for an officer to call me back but it kept bothering me all week. So I went ahead and just called it in.
We shall see
(those not up to date this is related to the little girl grabbing my daughter's crotch at school)

Ok I did it.. (Called the cops)
Update:
Since they are under 10, there's nothing they can do. Just take it down for information only.
That's Such BS!
(PS If they think that is stopping me.. they have no idea )

I don't know the incident but I have an HONEST question. No flame.
If the kids are under 10 what did you expect the police to do? Arrest an 8 year old?
Again, this is NOT a flame.

Were they able to take it down as a complaint? At least then it is an official record should it happen again. I feel like sometimes it's about building a paper trail should you need it.

Cps? Investigate with the parents/school - the incident clearly shows behavior not normal and pretty disturbing for the age.

Ok I did it.. (Called the cops)
Oh and I didn't feel any flame :)
HOWEVER... My flamethrower is on full. I want them to realize that 7yrs old vs 10yrs means NOTHING when my 6yr old says she does indeed seek out that girl to play with her because it means if she is happy my kid may not get hurt. To me that is abuse and bullying. That is Psychological training. I asked the district police when does this behavior start? Young? Why does it happen to the teen who threatened our school with guns and the two kids who DID come to school with guns because we decide that at a young age its not worth investing in FOLLOWING THE PROCEDURES SET BY THE DISTRICT. As I noted, the district procedures do NOT discriminate for age, and this child DESERVES to be punished for what she's done, regardless of age. Further my daughter does NOT deserve to wait 3more years before its significant enough for it to be a 'problem'. How about we address the problems when they are YOUNG instead of waiting for them to mature and develop into monsters while practicing their abuse and manipulative ways on smaller children?
The officer had no response other than to say she'll see if there are any other options.
To which I said I am taking this up to the superintendent and the news if it is the District policy to IGNORE their own procedures especially when it involves such a personal physical contact as my daughter's crotch! If the district won't protect our girls who will? And NO I DONT CARE it was GIRL ON GIRL!! If it were BOY on GIRL its more inappropriate? Since WHEN!?

Re: Ok I did it.. (Called the cops)
I read your original post, and I would be livid as well, however, that is not normal behavior for an 8 year old. She had to learn it from somewhere. So while you can call her a brat, etc, etc., she is a child and my suspicion is that this has been done to her. Instead of calling the cops, you could place a call to CPS. They would determine if these actions require more investigating. Good luck, try to remain calm, and remember, she' a kid.

I disagree - Calling CPS isn't going to do anything to help/protect the OP's daughter.
And you're automatically assuming this was a sexual intention/assault - she may have just hit/kicked/grabbed her there because she KNEW it would be painful and/or embarrassing. The kid is an a$$hole - she's a spoiled bratty bully - It doesn't seem to me, at all from the other posts that there was anything sexual about her assault - it was 150% UNACCEPTABLE for her to even think of touching AJ .......but I don't think there's some underlying sexual abuse happening in her home that caused her to do that .......I think the kid is just a witch -
I'm sorry you're still dealing with this and not getting anywhere. I'd be like a crazy person - I'd keep on the school - If NOTHING else, I'd insist everything be on file, in writing - and that if they still refuse to remove her from your daughter's cllass, they absolutely do not put them together next year.

She can protect her kid by pulling her own child from that class. I have a 7 year old and she would never think to grab someone there. There's certain signs for sexual abuse and this kid sounds like she's acting out and grabbing someone on the crotch is NOT normal. Even if it's not sexual abuse, there is something going on and if the parents aren't doing something like getting counseling for their child that could be considered neglect.

Thank you
I think she's just a spoiled brat. CPS can't help that. You discipline your child and its a call to CPS you let your child go wild and hurt others and its ok.
They said to me ... made a POINT to say to me.... that AJ fears being in trouble. All eyes at me. Well ya know what? She should. Just because some monster wants to bully her doesn't mean she can bully back or disobey the rules. Yes she gets in trouble. No I won't give her leeway because of this incident. My parenting doesn't have gray areas. I don't beat my child I take away her TMNT show. SO HEAVEN FORBID She fears that! Yes she fears me as all good children SHOULD fear their parents disapproval and consequences if they disobey. Obviously *THIS* child sees no reason to fear breaking the rules. A call to CPS can't fix that.
She knew that hurting her there would hurt because that idiot child hurt HERSELF there just the weekend before. I watched it. Hubby and I were like "That's gonna hurt" and BAM! The tears the pain. So she knew what it would mean. She learned a new way to hurt and she used it.

If the school will not switch the other girl's class can you insist that your daughter be put I to a different class? I know that having your child removed from the class doesn't fix the underlying problem but it will prevent this child from touching and bullying you daughter again. It seems like at the very least the school should have a meeting with the parent(s) of the girl who touched your daughter.

I think taking AJ out sends the wrong msg. YOU were hurt YOU were bullied YOU were abused so..
YOU lose your friends YOU lose your teacher YOU change your routine.
I want her to learn you need to fight the system not the person.
That brat should not be rewarded for her behavior. After all, isn't that type of behavior that has created this mess?

I think you did the right thing. I would want everything documented just in case something happens again, especially since it seems that the school is taking a lax approach

Ok I did it.. (Called the cops)
I believe it was sexual on some level because the grab was in retaliation to AJ kissing a boy so this little beast is connecting the crotch grab with kissing a boy. Tell me where she learned that from and that its not sexual?? I would call CPS and I would contact a lawyer and have them send a letter to the school that they have been retained for possible legal action if the girl is not removed from AJs class. IDK if it would work but you can try. AJ should def NOT be the one who is moved. SHe did nothing wrong. This poor kid has been violated and hurt in a way no female especially a child should. If this was two women on the subway it would be all over the news and one would be arrested! I am so mad for you!

Re: Ok I did it.. (Called the cops)
I'm going to be honest here and say that while I understand your outrage completely - I think your energy is now misplaced. What I would focus on is your DD and how she reacts to and "handles" this girl and all other children like her that she WILL encounter in the future. Removing this one girl might temporarily appease you but, going forward there will be other girls and boys just like this and your DD needs to know how to deal with them when you are no longer able to intervene and help. I probably would have reacted just like you a few years ago and thought this was a freak child unlike any other but, I've seen that there are a lot of kids like this sadly. I would focus now on teaching your DD to stay far away from kids like this and how to deal with their antics.
