OK I am feeling REALLY sappy today...
I broke out our wedding video thinking "Wow this is the day we began our little family just the two of us."
On that day, we were so filled with hopes and dreams for and with each other. Over two years later I still swoon when I see it and thinking how much we have been through both physically and emotionally to get to this time when the two of us become the "three of us."
I cannot wait to see DH with our daughter. I cannot wait for him to become her hero - the greatest man in her life. The idea of DH being a daddy makes me fall in love with him all over again.
Maybe I feel this way because today marks what would have been my parents 52nd wedding anniversary. We lost Dad almost 3 years ago and Mom just recently. I pray that our marriage is filled with as much love for each other and our children as theirs was. I also wish the same for everyone else - that you are all equally blessed.
Sorry so sappy - I am having a moment - a good one, not a sad one.

Awesome, you just made me want to watch our wedding video again!! I know exactly what you mean about seeing DH as a father, just the look on his face when he could feel the baby kick was enough to melt my heart. When he actually holds him will be amazing. And I wish for you to have a marriage as wonderful as your parents

Awwww...........how sweet. I bought my DH a baby bib today on a whim that said "Little NY Met fan". I prefer the Yankees LOL. His face lit up though when he came home from work and saw it.

aww this is so sweet! Your post made me teary eyed! Im such a sap..it truly is amazing how two people can be so much in love and create a new life together. Im a daddy's girl myself and I cant wait to see how DH is with our daughter! Great post
