Oil Spill Q

Part of me wants to stop what I'm doing and go down there. The images sicken and infuriate me.

But alas, I kind of have bills to pay and need to work.

I have not heard ONE thing that people here can do.

Can someone shed some light?

Dawn dishwashing detergent is donating to the wildlife rescue efforts. Purchase specially marked bottles of Dawn and register the number on the website and they will donate to the fund.

ETA - Fox News has been all over this, asking Where's Hollywood? The Hollywood libs were all over fundraising for Katrina and Haiti and they are MIA for this disaster.

You can also go on vacation to one of the Gulf towns that is in the afflicted area. They are very worried about the drops in tourism. You may not be able to spend time at the beach but you can still eat in the restuarants and shop in the stores and stay in the hotels.
