Holy cow! I'm starting stims tonight!! I really didn't think I would. The nurse said my lining looked a little thin but the bloodwork would give the final answer. With with my first cycle, they had me wait a couple of days until I had a bleed. I guess my bloodwork today showed I was ready and I wasn't going to get a bleed (the nurse said this morning that I may or may not get a bleed. She's said that before but usually I do). Oh wow. I really wasn't ready for this. I have the worst cold right now. The nurse said I can't take any cold medicine. Just tylenol and rinse with warm salt water. She said that so long as I don't have the flu or a fever, they will go ahead with my cycle! OMG, my head is all stuffy and spinning at the same time!!! I didn't even have the nurse draw the circles on my butt this morning b/c i really didn't think it was happening.
Yeah!!! Good luck- I hope you start to feel better soon!!!! You're a pro w/ those shots silly- you taught me! I was told recently if your sinuses are blocked at all to take a pot of water and boil it w/ bay leaves- then turn the stove off and put your head over the pot w/ a towel over your head- it helps clear your sinuses!
How exciting!!!! I had a bad cold this whole cycle, and I was fine with the retrieval and transfer, except for having to baby Dh who ALSO had a cold and thus the world was ending But, I digress... GOOD LUCK!!
