Oh No, No, No (Possible TMI) **Final Update**
I got up to pee a little while ago and when I wiped there was some red blood mixed with what looks like ewcm.
I'm so nervous. What the heck is that? Since then there has been more spotting, it's brownish/red.
I'm freaking out. I'll be 8 weeks on Friday and my first appointment isn't until Thursday morning.
Has anyone had this happen? What was your outcome? I'm so scared. I don't want to even think about losing this baby. I'm trying not to get upset but it's hard.

Update: Thank you so much for all the advice and support. So far so good this morning. No more spotting but I have a little pressure in my lower abdomen on the left side.
I called the Dr and left a message for the triage nurse to call me back. I doubt they'll see me today. I'll prob just wait for my appt tomorrow.
Update 2: The nurse wants me to go to the hospital to have my beta done and a sono to rule out an ectopic. Thanks for all the reassurance. Will update when I get back
Also I just peed and there is a little bit of brown spotting again. Hoping everything will be okay.
Update 3: I'm at the ER. Just had blood drawn. They are moving me to a private room shortly for a pelvic exam and ultrasound. Hopefully they will tell me that everything is okay!
Thanks again for all the support, prayers and encouraging words. You ladies are all so awesome :)
Final Update: I just got home and baby is okay! Heart rate is 151 and my cervix is closed. Not sure where the spotting is coming from though. Maybe tomorrows appt will answer some other questions.

It's so hard but try to stay calm, take some deep breaths, & think positively. There have been a few threads recently of this happening & the baby turned out to be fine.
Get checked out ASAP & keep us posted. Good luck!

I literally had this happen for weeks, like weeks 7-14. For me it was like ctringy egg white mucous wiht small streaks of blood, almost as if I had blown my nise after a nose bleed.
I am now wide awake at 5 am 33 weeks pregnant with a baby kicking me awake.
But call your doctor. After the 2nd call I had an ultrasound, but they never found any reason for it

call you rphysician this am. let them do the appt one dayearly.. unfortunately i had this as well, turned out tobe low progesterone. all is well- currently 23 weeks..good luck.. staycalm. lots of fluids and offyour feet lady..

With my first pregnancy, I had bright red bleeding at 11 weeks. I was terrified, but everything ended up being ok. My doctor didn't know why I bled, but said that it's pretty common. I hope everything is ok.

I had spotting and then bright red heavy bleeding bten 6 and 8 weeks. No cramping, everything was fine. Im now 12+ weeks :) Good luck, I know how scary it is!!! Call your dr and see if they can take you earlier for peace of mind.

I had a similar spotting last week but all was fine, it went away in a couple of days. My OB said it was most likely old blood . He said  can also cause that for a few days.
But I would d call the dr and try to be seen asap.

As you know I had bright red bleeding and cramping at 8w3d, but so far everything seems fine (and I've had 3 sonos since to prove it!). I only had the bright red blood for 1 night and I've had brown spotting since (going on day # 12 I think?). So try to stay calm as difficult as that may be!!! Don't lift anything or over exert yourself......hope this passes quickly!!! Keep us updated after your appointment tomorrow (although I hope they can see you today!!).

Ok, so tomorrow's appointment was going to be your first one? It really sucks they can't see you today and they're recommending you go to the ER!! My old ob would probably take you today since they don't seem to turn anyone away let me know if you want their info!
