OH NO! I can't use my Tiny Love mobile. What now?
Agggh! We just purchased 2 separate Tiny Love mobiles for my DS, one for his crib at home and another for his crib at my parents house (they watch him) and neither of them fit our cribs! The rails are too wide. I am so bummed! I have heard nothing but great things and was so looking forward to them now that we are transitioning our 3 moth old DS to a crib.  
I called tiny love and they basically said return them. They are working on making adjustable ones but they won't be out any sooner than late spring if that.
What mobile might fit a crib with really wide rails? Any other crib toys that I can get? I really want DS to start spending time in his crib and want him to be entertained. I need this at 6:30 am when we're getting ready for work.
We have the Creations Ravenna and a Bonavita (can't remember the model name).
Aggggghhhhhh!

I have a creations crib - it was very very hard to get on, but we were able to. It barely fits

its not a mobile, but DS LOVES his Fisher Price Aquarium. I highly recommend it

We had the same problem with my son's crib. I returned the Tiny Love mobile and bought the Fisher Price Precious Planet Projection mobile. It fits perfectly.
My mother also has the Fisher Price rain forest peek-a-boo mobile on her crib. My son loves both.

i had this problem with DS 6 years ago. i came up with a different solution. i put a couple of hooks in the ceiling over his crib, and strung those plastic rings that can be connected from one hook on the ceiling to the other, and made it long enough it draped low to the crib. (but not where he could reach it) then i strung other small toys off that chain. i could change the toys whenever i felt like it, which was nice, he wasn't going to get bored from them. and i could move them along the chain to wherever they made sense. lots of flexibility. and a good replacement for the mobiles that wouldn't fit my crib rails.

i had the same problem a while back (when ds was about 2 months, but now he is 19 months)...But i went on this site and someone posted a thread of a tiny love mobile that fits the cribs with the wide bars. I remember that i ordered it on amazon...try to do a search for it!!!

We have the FP Rainforest mobile. I bought it specifically because the crib rails are really wide. It fits perfectly, and DD LOVES it.

We have the one on the right (The Fisher Price Peek a Boo). DD is 11 months old and still loves it!

I had the Tiny Love mobile so I can't help with that, but ITA about getting the aquarium. DS loves it and once he became mobile, he started turning it on in the crib.

I would not bother getting a mobile, I'd go with the FP aquarium or Rainforest sounds thing that attaches to the side of the crib. You can only use a mobile until 4 months anyway.

I have the Bonavita Peyton Lifestyle Crib and my Tiny Love Island Dreams mobile is attached in the middle of the back set of rails.

just out of curiosity, why only 4 months? We have the Tiny Love mobile on DS's crib, he's almost 6 months and still loves it. He has now figured out how to push the button by himself and loves to lay and watch it in the morning....

I had the same problem with the tiny love mobile. We ended up with the FP precious planet. The nice thing about it is that you can remove the mobile part (the part with the animals hanging), leave the base attached to the ctib and it will project onto the ceiling like a little show. DS loves it! He's almost a year and still uses it!

We had Christopher's on until he was like 18 months...
I *think* it depends on the baby, mine never pulled his down and liked it, so it stayed it

We have the Fisher Price projection mobile as well. It was the only one that will fit our crib.

we had the same issue with DS's crib. We ended up not using a mobile & have the FP Rainforest soother. We barely use it though
