Oh crap!

We're expecting a baby in, oh, about 95 days! So to get ready, DH was supposed to paint the bedroom. We figured while he was painting, he would also refresh the hallways with a coat, put a lighter coat in the bathroom and if he had time, paint the foyer. Not bad, right?

Well, we live in an old building with plaster walls. There are some cracks here and there. Nothing some spackle can't fix, right?

Well, currently, I am hearing chunks of the wall of the bathroom fall to the floor. The hallway has chips in it where he was scraping down to the plaster. And there is a giant hole in my bathroom wall.

All he was supposed to do was paint.

The only reason I am not freaking is that I will be staying elsewhere while all this is happening.
