Oguinquit Maine?

We are head to Oguinquit next week with my 14 month old DS. We are staying at the Beachmere Inn. Any suggestions for activities, places to eat, etc? Good takeout so we can hang out in the room after DS goes to sleep? Thanks!

We were just there in July with my 4 year old. We loved it. There are so many restaurants (all kid friendly) within walking distance on the main street. We stayed at a hotel across from Beachmere. Restaurants we really liked: Frills, Cornerstone, Beachfire Bar and Grill, Amore and Bread and Rose Bakery. For activites, we did the Marginal Way walk, zoo in York, mini golf, beach, pool and we went on a lobster boat out of Perkins Cove. The boat was fun and only an hour long so it was pretty quick. Have fun!

Thanks so much for the advise! I noticed there is a children's museum about 30 min away in new hampshire we may check out too. DId you do the beach a lot?

We did the beach once during the day (it was crowded) and every night after dinner. It was nice to just walk on the sand and watch the sunset. The water was freezing though! It hurt just to put our ankles in lol.

We went there with our then 14m old and had the best time. Take beach toys.

We were really surprised at how cold the water was! I think we went in July and only dipped our feet in.
