Atherton Faux Leather Detail Pleated Skirt - This was the piece I was most nervous about...but I LOVED it. Unfortunately it sat way too high on me. If it was about an inch bigger around I could have pulled it down a little. I'm hoping next fix they are going to send me another skirt with similar cut/style.

I think I got this skirt in my fix this week. It looks cute in the pic you posted but I dont know about the $$$ Chat Icon

It was an adorable skirt...a little out of my price range normally. Sat too high on my waist for me. If it sat a bit lower I would have definitely kept it though...faux leather detail was really cute and the quality of the skirt was great. Hope you like it!!!!!

I am super confused about something. Someone signed up using my link so I got the $25 credt. However, my account only says that I have a $5 credit. I checked out their FAQ section, which says that they apply the $25 credit to the $20 styling fee. I don't know if I'm having a moment but it doesn't make any sense to me. Can someone explain how this will work when I check out? Because if they still credit me the $20 and apply my $5 credit, I'm still short the other $20. What am I missing?!!?

I have never ordered/used credit, but this is how I understand it...
Say you're getting a fix on 09/30 - you won't be charged the usual $20 style fee for it and since the referral credit is $25 - you have $5 left. Which, I assume they take off the next fix - which then you'd be charged $15.

You are exactly right!!! Yay for credits :)

Thanks so much! This makes sense now -- I thought I was charged the $20 up front so the math wasn't working for me.

My fix arrived last night! I'm pretty bummed actually, out of the 5 items there is only 1 I am thinking of keeping. I took pics, I will try to figure out how to post them.

I HATED the shoulder pads in this blazer. Which is a shame because it was really cute and comfortable

The high waisted pants were awful. I didn't even take a picture.

The only thing I am considering keeping is the burgundy lace shirt.

Thoughts?

I actually LOVE both tops on you. And that blazer is SUPER cute, but why shoulder pads? UGH!
Necklace is pretty. And sorry you didn't like the pants. High waisted, huh? They sound pretty awful Chat Icon

You like the blue top? The fit was a little weird...it was fitted in some places, big in others and long. IDK, maybe I should keep it anyway and wear it with jeans. The blazer was so comfortable, I just can't get past the shoulder pads. They made it so boxy. The pants were terrible on me, but I could see how someone that wears that style would like them if they fit properly. They were more like capris on me because of my height (5'8"). Chat Icon

That's the blazer I got - it was really cute, well made, and fit really nicely.

I went back to see your pics but they're not there anymore. I'm excited about the blazer, elbow patch sweater and dress...of course the 3 most expensive things!!

Darn it. It's the most expensive item! IDK if I can justify $70 for it...

I wouldn't. I like it a lot, but like $35 tops. You can totally find similar shirts for cheaper than that!

ETA: Anyway to take the shoulder pads out of that blazer? I did it with a skirt suit I really liked. What a difference!

I got the same tulip print navy blouse and I had to send it back. I could never justify that price for something I'd wear for errands and such!!! (I don't work) but I did like the fit and style :(

That's how I feel. It's not like I can wear it to work - it would be a top for weekends only. I think I'm going to send it back.

The question now becomes do I keep the burgundy top or send that back too? It was a little short, but it seems like it would tuck in nice. I'm always freezing, and wearing a cardigan with it would defeat the purpose. It would prob look cute with skinny jeans though. Maybe I'll try it on again..

I have to decide tonight/send back tomorrow bc I'm out of town all weekend.

I actually really Like the blazer, I know shoulder pads are corny and I don't know what it looks like up close but it looks really nice as is.

I like both purple and blue top. really like the Purple top, the back is cute. But I get what you are saying about the price and you know what the material and product actually looks like!

Thanks for all of the feedback ladies! I decided to only keep the burgundy top with the lace detail. I didn't want to keep the blazer and be unsuccessful in trying to cut out the shoulder pads. I liked the blue top but couldn't justify the cost. The best part about it is that the top only ended up costing me $23 because of credits! Total score!! I thought only $5 was going to be taken off so I was super happy when I checked out. I have a rehearsal dinner tonight so I think I'm going to wear it with a black blazer. :)

Scheduled my next fix for 10/29.

I was having problems logging into stitchfix and now that that's all resolved, when I was able to log in today, there is no checkout option. I received my first fix a week ago and there's not any trace of it even happening. I think it's weird! My next fix comes on October 11th. I leave for Vegas that morning! I probably should reschedule the fix since if everything does come on time, I can't have it in the mail within the 3 days. But the 11th is a Friday, so technically everything needs to be postmarked for that Monday, which is a holiday, so I think I can get away with having it post marked on that Tuesday. I don't know what to do! The next earliest day is October 16th which isn't bad but I don't want to wait. Chat Icon

ETA: I rescheduled to the 16th because I figured it was the safer and smarter thing to do. And a couple of extra days isn't that bad especially since I'll be spending that time in Vegas.
