hi ladies, how is everyone doing?
I am at 28 wks and getting nervous about the weight gain! so far i am up 19lbs and everyone keeps telling me how huge my belly looks.
IMO, 19lbs at 28 weeks is great... i was up 21 at my 24 week appointment. i'm sure my 28 week appt will be a gem lol but no one's told me i'm getting too beastly yet, so i guess that's good! i'm sure you're not huge... people just say that bc they don't know how else to say your belly is growing

Hi girls!
28 weeks and up 22 lbs. here. Had another big gain at my last appointment, so dr. told me to start watching my calories. People like to tell me how big I am now too! It's a bit upsetting, but trying not to let it bother me too much.
Had my shower early this past weekend, in order to accommodate my MIL and sister who traveled from out of state for it. It was really great, I got so many nice things that we are now trying to organize and find a place for. The crib and dresser are both put together. Starting to really feel real now!
Good luck to those of you awaiting GT results. Luckily, I passed. They never called me, so hopefully those of you who haven't heard anything haven't heard bc of that reason!

you girls made me feel a lot better about my weight gain. I gained 5 lbs in 2 weeks! I've been pretty good with weight gain so far but the doctor said I need to make better food choices but I what I heard was "you're fat". I have to admit I'm not eating as healthy as I should be.

does everyone know about their shower? I planned mine with mil and mom's help :) it's not until Aug 26th though. i love watching things come off the registry! 
anyone start the nursery? we have and it's such a weird feeling peeking in there and seeing a crib.

We're having our shower in August too. It will be coed, and DH and I are taking part in a lot of the planning. It is fun seeing things come off the registry! I was originally going to try really hard not to peak, because DH wanted me to be surprised, but I keep thinking of things to add to the registry, so it's hard to not see what's been bought.
We started our nursery too. We have the crib and the glider all set up. I love going in there! I can't wait to see it all decorated!

my shower will be the first week of September - I'm planning it with my family though we should probably be a bit more active about it. Sept seems so far away so we haven't done anything really but now that i'm thinking about it, it's really right around the corner! time to get our acts together

that is exactly what i said too and kept going back to add more things. then it became a daily habit to check it lol. fun!

My shower will be Sept 16th and I have actually hired someone to help me plan it. I have too much going on at home with redoing a bathroom etc... I would have had it earlier but I am waiting for my godmother to get back from overseas

i only know the date is sept 15th, other than that im in the dark lol
i HATE surprises so i muscled the date out of my mom and mil 
how is everyone feeling!?!? i feel like the time is FLYING and there is still so much to do  i scheduled my gd test for the 28th (ill be 28 w 2d) but im feeling great! those little taps and movements have become full fledged kicks at some points and if i lay flat at night i can see the crazy movements  so cool! hope everyone is doing great!

Hey ladies! I am 28 weeks tomorrow! Had my 1 he GT today and hope I passed!
Feeling ok, I majorly hurt my back on Tuesday at the gym ugh. I have also been feeling extra tired and very emotional. I haven't been weepy at all really and all of a sudden it is water works over everything! Other than that baby seems to be doing good and is moving like crazy! My belly is also jumping around!
My shower is this weekend and I am excited! I have started the nursery! Furniture and bedding is in and ordering a chair next week!!!

No shower for me, but we're planning a "BaBy-Q" / family cookout possibly for 8/26.
I'm waiting for DH to move the guest room into the office room so I can move DD into her new room so I can make the nursery for DS. I have almost everything I need already except a crib, but we don't plan to use a crib for a while anyway (DD was in the rock n play in our room for 9 m... we plan to do at least 3 months, but maybe 6 m this time, so no hurry). I still want to get the room set up and clothes put away. I went shopping at a huge local consignment sale today and got TONS for DS!
Tomorrow's my 3d sono. Hopefully after that, he'll have a name for sure. I'm so excited!

So apparently my little guy is Frank breech right now (he's folded in half with his butt in my pelvis and his feet by his head). The tech asked me if I knew and I said no because they don't do sonos after 20 weeks at my OB. She said that now I'll probably get another insurance-paid sono after they discovered this lol. It's still very early (I'm 28 w tomorrow) so I know not to worry about breech yet but now I know why I only feel him on one side most of the time and not as often as I expect to!
We didn't get any great face shots because of his hands and feet in his face (got a really cute one of him rubbing his eye and another of him with his foot right next to his eye). But it was still a great experience! He looks SOOOOO different than my daughter!!!
I have to get the pictures loaded from the cd (no cd drive on my laptop) so I can share.
Since his bottom is where his face should be, we got some GREAT shots of his man parts!!! LOL the tech was joking "he's such a man, showing his goods!" Thanks for asking!

Oh I can't wait to book my and see  face! Glad you had a good experience. Alot of time they don't "cooperate" and keep their hands intheir face.

Glad you enjoyed and that it went well! That's kind of good news about being breech since you'll probably get another sono now! I'm sure he'll un-pretzel himself in the next 12 weeks anyhow so as you said, i wouldn't worry.
