Doing ok, finding a comfortable position to sleep in is getting harder and harder since he dropped last week.
My first internal is on Thursday at 37 weeks 1 day. Everyone I've talked to says I am going to go early...I hope so because I am just about done.
The carseat bases are installed, room is clean, swing is put together. We are so ready for our little man to make his appearance.

I've had two internals so far - I imagined them to be painful but they're not at all.

He looks nice and shiny now! I figured he's going to be licking our little guy, gotta get him prepped to be near him all the time haha.

Am I the first to give birth from our group??
Ryan Anthony was born on Sunday, July 27. 7.10 pounds and 19.5 inches long.
Original due date was 8/8, had a section scheduled for 8/1, he had other plans! Some issues popped up unexpectedly on Sunday and my doc felt it was best to get him out ASAP.
Second section recovery is no joke. I'm in a lot of pain, I don't remember it being this bad with my 1st 5 years ago
Enjoy the last few days/weeks, ladies. I thought I had some more time with him on the inside - I actually miss being pregnant and feeling him squirm all around.

Congrats!!! I'm scheduled for my csection tomorrow! Just went for my pre-op testing. I can't believe I made it over 38 weeks with twins! I had a sono yesterday and both babies were measuring 7 pounds can't wait to see them, finally! Good luck to you all :)

Good luck to you! I'm 35 weeks with twins and my water broke this morning! Just waiting for the contractions to pick up now!

From yesterday's doctors appointment, I'm 2 cm dilated and 60% effaced…Which really could mean any day now, or it could be another week+ hah.
They also did a sonogram and they're now estimating he's 8lb and 1oz at 39 weeks. :)

Great size. I'm thinking ours will be about 8 as well. Which is nice bc they will have a little chub on them making them look even cuter and no need for nb diapers... You can start at size 1.

I've never posted on the August thread but I am due 8/15. I am 38 weeks today. This is my second and the reality of having a second has not officially hit me yet. With my first, he came 4 days early. I went to the doctor on Monday and I am not dilated AT ALL. I was really hoping to go a few days early, but the doctor said one does not have to do with the other.... I could still even go late.
Congrats to everyone!! the first 36 weeks went soooo fast. Now everything seems to have slowed down. haha

Had my first false alarm! At almost 37 weeks, I wasn't feeling well all day, contractions got to be 4 minutes apart. I went to L&D, only to get two bags of fluid and be sent home! I have 17 days til my scheduled csection but I can't help but to hope it happens a bit sooner!
