Off topic, kinda- Any teachers here?
I know a lot of you are probably teachers... I have a feeling that we're loving and giving, and that has a lot to do with it.
I teach in the alternative programs and credit recovery in a few schools here on LI. The students are very good for the most part, but I always get the pregnant teenage girls with me.  It's like, they have to sit next to me. at all times. 
Were anyone's students absolutely wild today? I have high schoolers who are usually still  in the classroom, but today they were nuTs. I lost my patience....

I totally understand how you feel. I coordinate services for a program serving low income children and parents.
My mother would have killed me if I pulled half these things. But it is so frustrating when you are helping a teenage mom whos is 13, 14, 15, etc and is on her 2nd kid!!! AHHH!!!

I have to teach today.....at my old school I was always off the day b4 thanksgiving now im not at my new school :(
