October Moms - How are you holding up?

Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing. I can't believe it's almost our month.

I'm good - just completely exhausted. I can't get a good nights sleep at all - between peeing every hour and my 2 year old who has decided that he likes to be up by 5am every morning - I am shot. I am actually looking forward to the hospital stay just so that I can have a good nights rest

The aches and pains are still here and pretty bad. It actually feels like someone is stabbing me in the vagina with a knife....good times right?!

The baby's room is 90% done and by Sunday I hope to be completely done and take some pictures. We are bringing the baby gear back from my parents house little by little. The carseat has been installed. We're on our way!

I am so ready to be done. I woke up this morning with contractions. They are 10-12 minutes apart. I have my final obgyn appointment before my repeat c/s this morning. I am supposed to deliver by scheduled repeat c/s next week. I think over the night DD flipped from transverse to head down - we shall see.

Everything is done except for washing the coming home outfit and blanket and putting the bassinet together. The crib and PNP are set up so I am not concerned. I still need to put the last minute things like my hair dryer into my hospital bag.

I wish I would become a Sept mom all the time! I am still working...my feet are swollen all day everyday now and just recently I started having headaches. Had my 38w4d appt yesterday and md said I was maybe a fingertip dilated. I am still bugging dh to put the infant seat bases and seat in the cars. I just can't wait to see the baby!

im hanging in ...my last day of work is 10/9; i'll be working from home until my due date.

my feet are swollen all the time now..a little bit in the morning and by day's end i can barely move my ankles around.

we're picking up the rest of the shower stuff at MIL's this weekend so we can get the room finished up. ineed a major shopping trip to BRU since 90% of the stuff wasnt purchased off the registry. i need so much crap its not funny.

Still holding on. I wish would come already. I stopped working this week. I've been having tons of BH contractions, some are very strong. I have an OB appt. this morning as well as a bio-physical sono. I'm hoping for progress; I would love to be a Sept. mommy!

had my 37w2D appt yesterday. I am definitely losing my plug...but that could mean nothing.

all Dr. asked was that I didn't ruin a wedding she and the whole office are going to today with my "mucous"

having contractions here and there but nothing to really write home about. the baby LOVES LOVES LOVES to headbutt the top of my cervix...causing me to occassionally double over like a freak, but nothing much doing otherwise.

physically, I am doing ok I guess. SUPER tired from lack of sleep, but no major swelling (although dr. did say my face looked puffy...I just told her it was fat ) I am still working and will hopefully be working til the end, although dh is not so enthused about the idea.

I lost a pound since last week, and thankfully my BP has been constant throughout the entire pregnancy so physcially there are no worries for me.

our landlord JUST finished the needed repairs in our apt YESTERDAY, so we still need to get the room ready. hopefully this week, and hopefully the baby will wait at least that long.

I can't believe October will be here in less than a week.

Counting the days .......

It's just starting to all get me so cranky... Haven't slept in forever, and trying to keep up with 2 yr old Noah while trying to rest is near impossible.

Lots of contractions but none seem to be doing anything....which is good, I want the babies to cook another week or two at least.

Have to use a wheelchair if I need to go to the store....and its embarassing

BUT....Its nearing the end and time is going fast and the babies are healthy and getting BIG and I havent gained too much weight, and so I'm just counting the days.....

Hugs to all the Oct Mommies near the end Cnanot wait to start seeing the labor stories!

I'm 37 weeks 3 days, and I have been having false labor contractions for the past two days (5-10 minutes apart, not painful). Not sure if that means anything!!

We still dont have a name!

I cant wait to be a mommy and to get my boddy back, between the carpul tunnel, braxton hicks and all my itching i have had it. I am almost 36 weeks (Tues) and I just want to make it till at least 37 weeks so he is healthy. I hope its not too long after that. I dont sleep and I am so uncomfy plus I just cant wait to hold him.

I was planning to work till the end as well but the Dr says no and he says his head is so low you cant see his face on the sono (which he said explains all the pressure I have down there)

I cant wait for Peanut's arrival and love all you girls for all the support and so glad we get to share this month!!

Hey ladies!!! Can't believe it's almost time!!!

Surprisingly I'm feeling pretty good! Other than being tired and needing a nap at about 2-3ish...I'm doing A-Ok.

Baby and I were rockin' out at the U2 concert last light!!! SO MUCH FUN!!!! Even though it wasn't my fav U2 concert, the baby sure enjoyed it...was dancing up a storm in my belly. It was too cute!!!

Lots of movement. I saw the OB on Tues and all is good. Lost a pound, so who knows...but everything's great. I'm going every week now and I have my growth/position sono next week so I'm super excited to see the little monkey again!!!

At 36 wks, 1 day I think I am holding up pretty well.

My feet are swollen and I am tired all the time now but that is expected.

I am still working hard and will likely work up until this baby decides to show, unless it just becomes unbearable to be in the office. I think I would go stir crazy at home.

I flew to Michgan earlier this week for work - wish I didn't have to do that but I dealt with it. I am going to Rhode Island for work next week, but DH is taking the day off to drive me!

Still have so much to do to get ready, but I am not stressing about it. I have what I need if this baby comes early- everything else is gravy.

I'm 36 weeks and I'm definitely feeling it now. Started having leg pain on wednesday and it won't go away. I am tired all the time and every step i take in so effortful. We still have some things to buy and are planning to finish that up this weekend. Other than that, I plan on staying home and resting so that I can make it through another work week. The swollen feet are no fun either.

I feel so unprepared. Baby's room is almost done but we are still missing the ceiling fan, rug and shades for the windows. Gosh, sounds like everything now that I write it. I don't have anything for my hospital bag. Need to buy bras, pjs, etc.

Aggghh! I'm feeling stressed. Hoping i get some stuff done in the next few days.

As you can see by the time I am writing this, I am having trouble sleeping. I was doing so well up until tonight with my sleep. Except for getting up 6 times a night to pee. I have had trouble walking for a few weeks now. And this past Monday I started to have contractions. My back hurts most of the day. And my appetite is off. I do find myself drinking a lot more water and eating a lot of crushed ice to keep myself hydrated. I am swollen from the belly down most nights and my itchies are back.....

I'm 38 w 3 days and definitely feeling it!

My ankles and toes are pretty swollen and sleeping is difficult with getting up at least 3 times a night to pee. I feel enormous and get out of breath pretty quickly. I'm going to try to work another week, unless the baby has different plans for me.

Doc said I'm about 1cm dilated but no other progress really. Baby is cozy in there and I'm okay with that for now. Just a few more things to do before baby's arrival and then we can't wait to meet him/her!

hello october mommies!!!!!

im 37w1d and yesterday was my last day of work. no more commuting on the LIRR and subway!!! woohoo!!!

i finished lamaze last night and survived the dreaded video. i cant believe thats going to happen to me!

the nursery is just about done. my dad is putting up the ceiling fan this weekend and im waiting for the rug to come in. im going to hang the wall letters and just finish up some decorations. other than that, its ready and waiting for the baby to come.

my feet and ankles have been disgusting!!! it even hurts to drive just from moving my ankle from the gas to break pedal. im peeing alot now and walk at a snails pace. im getting lightening crotch alot too so thats fun.

and the topper!!! i just got a sore throat and cold yesterday! but breathing is super fun!

i had a growth sono on thursday. the baby's head was too low for an accurate measurement so they did an estimated measurement using the body. hes weighing about 7lb 1oz and can be about 8lb 8oz when hes born. lets hope not.

Im 38w2d today...put a fork in me cause im done! By the end of the work day my hands, legs, ankles, and feet are so swollen that i just lay down and have no energy to do anything else! im so frustrated cause im used to constantly being up and moving. but with less than 2 weeks till my due date, i guess i'll have to learn to just deal with the uncomfortableness.

had a drs appt on tuesday and im not dilated AT ALL! another frustration cause i really thought i would have made some progress with all the hooha pain and pressure. but he said DC is still high up.

at this point, im fine with the baby staying in a bit longer because we close on our new house this wednesday and i would really love to be there with DH for it. so anytime after wednesday little bean you can come out. but with my luck, ill probably go into labor on the way to or at the closing table!

Hey Girls!!!!

Well I am 36 weeks 4 days, and I'm definitely starting to feel the third trimester.

The last week has been horrendous on my body. I've been horribly constipated (and nothing is working), eating has become a chore again. Between the naseua, the lack of room to fit anything in my stomach, and the reflux that happens after I do eat, it has been a struggle!!!!

So all of that has made working, sleeping, pretty much doing anything pretty uncomfortable!!!

We are also in the process of moving, and have to be out of our apartment by next week, so we'll be staying at my Mom's until our next place is ready. It makes for some craziness, but it's all worth it!!!

I'm complainging, but I'm still enjoying it all and I'm still looking forward to meeting this little guy!!!

I am starting to get anxious about the whole birthing process, but I don't know if anything will really calm my fears about that one!!!

Freaking that it's almost our month! I cannot believe how fast these 9 months went!!

I'm actually feeling okay, which makes me a little nervous. Have been getting mild menstral cramps here and there this week. I had swollen feet on Thursday for the first time, but just kept them elevated and they were fine. Def. more tired then usual, but no problems sleeping.

We had our hospital tour last week...reality hit home! The nursery is somewhat ready..not picking up the furniture until baby is here so my DH and parents will set that up. Clothes are all washed and ready to go. Now it's just a waiting game

I am due 10/25 but many end up as a September Mommy.

I have a complete placenta previa and they want to take me asap. I have an amnio scheduled for Monday, 9/28 and my c-section is scheduled for 9/30, pending the results of the amnio. As long as the amnio shows lung maturity, we're good to go!

Yesterday was my last day of work which was nerve-wracking and I have a fever blister to show for it.

If the amnio results aren't good, they will do anthoer anmio the following Monday.

I'm being bedrested after the amnio so I'm in a rush to get everything done this weekend. Ugh!

I am close to 39 weeks and I am so ready to have this boy. My face is starting to get big and back hurts a lot but for the most part I am fine. My Dr. wants to induce me this week...
