Hello all you beautiful pregnant women!
I am looking for a new gyno. Although I'm not pregnant or TTC, we will be trying in the next 2 years and I do not want to switch practices.
So, my question is if I choose a dr. near my work (in NYC) but they are not affiliated with a LI hospital, would I have to deliver in a hospital their affiliated with or will they come out to a LI hospital? I know I can ask the Dr. this but I don't want to wait until I have an apptmt to find out they won't work for when I want to have a kid.
Are there any NYC commuters that have obgyn's in the city? I just think with appointments, I would need something close to work but I'm not about to commute an hour when I'm in labor.
also, what are the best LI hospitals to deliver in?
Thanks for your help and good luck with your babies!

Re: obgyn
Doctors usually have to be affiliated with a hospital.
