NYC Quit Smoking Ad!
Have you seen it with the little boy who loses his mother in what looks like a subway station? I almost lost it, that was SO sad!

I HATE that they started showing it again !! 
HERE'S A LINK to an article that was written when it was first shown. This line of the article "Before filming, they say that the actor was well versed in what was going to happen and was told it was going to be an exercise in "make-believe." is what gets me the most - he was 4, did he really totally understand what was going on ??

i can't watch it anymore, it makes me teary each time it comes on! what about the other one when they squeeze that nasty stuff out of the tubes. gross! puke in my mouth!

I hate this commercial! It makes me so mad. I know it's scripted to have the kid be all alone, but it bothers me that people are just passing by and no one stops to help him. If I see a kid lagging by himself, I quickly scan around to make sure his parents are nearby watching him and he isn't lost.
I'm not even a parent, but maybe it's because I got lost at a huge picnic when I was 4 and was terrified.
