NYC parking tickets - how to get discounted???
DH got a few parking tickets (don't even get me started about it).
I want to just pay them online, but is there a way to challenge/get them reduced and then just pay them?

Nope, no way unless they were given in error. If you wait, they will only accrue in increments of $15 I believe...my husband is a parking ticket LORD!

if they are for expired meter then yes. somewhere on the page it says request hearing or something like that. if it hasn't been over 30 days then they will reduce it to $26 from the original $35, i think it takes 24 hours.

I agree. Always plead not guilty, they'll offer you a reduced rate.

they reduce them by like 25...
100% correct. Plead "not guilty" by mail (internet?). They will reduce the fine if you pay within X amount of days.
