My daughter saw a commercial and got very excited. She's 7 1/2. Does anyone know of anyone coupon codes?

Re: NYC nutcracker
There are none that I could find, and it's pretty pricey. I just paid like $360 for my daughter and I to go for orchestra seats (everything else was gone for our date). We went 2 years ago and I paid about $300 for super high seats. I would get your tickets now, they do sell out. Also check out the workshops they offer before select performances. They get to do a dance class with members of the ballet. Its cheap...like $12 for that.
If you don't want to pay that much, check out the Patchogue Theater performance by Ovations. It's really good.

If you rather not spend the money on the NYC nutcracker...Patchogue Theater has the Nutcracker as does a ballet studio in Port Jeff.

Re: NYC nutcracker
We have gone every year for the past 6 years. My husband went when he as a child so we are continuing it with our children.
I have to say there is really no way to get coupons for these performances. We only have done orchestra or first ring. We like to try a different view every time... For the 4 of us to go it is well over. $500 to go...
we always but them as soon as they go on sale so we have plenty to choose from..
My perspective you have to go at least once. The experience is like no other to go to Lincoln center during the holiday season.... Both my kids love it and can't wait to go every year...
if you want to bemore econominical there are a re other performances locally that are great. I took my daughter to see her friend at Hofstra last year. Tickets are on sale and the performances are the week of December 18th...

Everyone needs a ticket regardless of age. I went to a show with a friend and her kids. I had to pay for DS when he was 6 months old and sleeping on me in the baby bjorn. I could understand if needed his own seat but he didn't need one and he obviously wasn't there to watch the show.
Does anyone know if the Port Jeff ballet has a website? I'd be interested in checking that one out.
I've been to the NYC ballet a few times ... it's amazing but $$$

It's the Amy Tyler School of Dance that does it during the weekend of December 4th (Dickens Festival weekend).
Seiskaya also does one at the Staller Center in Stony Brook.
