Turned my $70 tix (3 adult and 1 child) to $30!!
I also tried w/ my mastercard b/c they have a mc vip deal and it also worked but it was still $40 more and I didn't think it was worth it. You just get a closer seat and first access to pics. Last year ds had less patience and we went just the two of us so I would have done it- but not on 4 tix this yr.

Thank you...it looks like there are two separate shows - the holiday show in nov and dec and then the thomas one in jan - has anyone gone and which one is the best in your opinion?
Also do you know how long this coupon is good for?

And to the other q. Imo you want to do the Thomas show when the holiday train show is going on bc the Thomas show is only like 20 mins and not worth it without the train show.
No idea when the coupon is good until. I purchased last night right before I posted.

I'm curious too. We go to the one in Belle Terre every year, which is fab, and almost free (donate a toy for toys for tots or a couple of bucks)

It's not like a typical train show with layouts on tables. Google for images bc it's hard to describe-it's like a city made of wood- like twigs almost, lol. Then typical Lionel type trains run through it and last year they had one Thomas train running through. The Thomas show is separate-on another building- and is basically a Thomas set with a talking Thomas face. There's a short story and then photo opp. Ds1 who basically lives for trains was 23 months last year and loved loved it.

Thanks. I googled the images and its looks great. It also looks very uncrowded. In reality is it like this (uncrowded) since they sell timed tickets? I imagined it to be crowded as every train show we have seen is.
Do the tickets include the Thomas part?

The Thomas part is in an auditorium.
To answer the other q. I went on a weekday last Jan and it was crowded. Not unbearable but crowded enough that I held my ds' hand the whole time. I couldn't really let him look on his own from a couple feet in front of me.
As for the tix it's the other way around -Thomas includes the trains but trains don't include Thomas.

Yes the Thomas ticket comes with the train show. Go to the botanical garden's website and you'll see the options.

IMO the thomas show we went to last year there was lame, I felt waste of time and money. A stationary thomas figure singing with a conductor type dancing around. And kids sitting in auditorium being bored.
The train show was just model train sets. I think the Railroad Museum of Long Island is much better time spent.
