I hope every dog at NSAL can find a home. They have been through a lot and really need a forever home. I wish I could adopt one so badly.

My rudy is from NSAL. I think with the amount of people that showed up online today they will run out of the mill dogs and people will fall in love with the other dogs that are there.

I TOTALLY agree. Any publicity for NSAL is good publicity for ANY dog there!!!
I am sure staff will advocate for ALL dogs when these people show up!!!

I agree- these dogs will go quick- plus it brings people htere to fall for their other dogs.
My Busey is a NSAL dog- we went for a puppy but took her home instead- she was a Katrina dog. Not from NOLA, but emptied form local shelters to make room for NOLA dogs.

Was it shut down? I thought they were keeping 200 dogs as they got there license? Or did that change
