NPR...Period after pregnancy

My period came 7 weeks after I had my twins. I had a c-section (not sure that matters). It was pretty normal and it went away after 4 days. Then a week later it started again but this time brown blood which I know from pregnancy is old blood. (ALL TMI I KNOW) I also have very bad back pain but I am not sure if it is even related to this.

Is this normal? Has anyone experienced something like this before.

I think your period can be off for a while after pregnancy. I'd call the dr and ask. I just gave birth last sunday so I am not sure yet.
