Not sure what to do. . .
I found a small lump on the side of my neck- went to my primary care doctor who said I have an infection in my lymph node & need to take antibiotics
He asked if I was pregnant & I told him we're TTCing and I'm due for AF next week, so I could be, but I don't know.
I ordered a blood test & said he can't give me the antibiotic until he knows if I am PG or not.
I'm just worried - can a blood test show a positive pregnancy THIS early ?????
What if the est shows no PG, I take antibiotic then I end up being PG ?????
I find out results Sunday morning

sorry that you have to go thru this but I do believe that BW can pick up pregnancies this early... I hope everything works out!

How will he treat you for this if you are pregnant? Maybe you can go that route, just to play it safe?

ita..i was on antiobiotic once while ttc and my dod did not think it was a problem

I would find out if You are pregnant or not. I think it shows up in blood first before Urine. How many days DPO are you? They probasbly can do a test right there in the drs office!!

my OBGYNs policy during the 2ww is to always act "as if"... I would take a course of antibiotics that is safe during pregnancy feel better!

I am not 100% when I O'd, but did have + OPKs on 11/5 (pm only), 11/6 (am & pm), & 11/7 (am only).
Dr took blood n Friday afternoon and I find out results today.
Have a feeling it's too soon
Regardless I'm going to ask for whatever treatment plan he would have if I were pregnant.
I will update later (office opens @ 10)

Ugh, what a waste. Nothing to update. They didn't have "definite" results. The dr was trying to say I should go back tomorrow for a urine test, but it's frustrating me b/c it's too damn soon!
I'm just going to ask him to treat me like I am.
