Not open for testing on the weekend?
Just found out that the fertility clinic that told me they are open 7 days a week except for christmas, is NOT open on the weekends for day 3 or day 10 'cycle' testing for blood and sonos. My RE reassured me that my 'cycle' would never be impacted because by them, that they would always accomodate me at 1 of their 3 locations.
Well on thanksgiving, I got my period days early, and I was told I needed to wait until Monday for the Day 3 testing...keep in mind that every time I start a 'cycle' its paid out of my pocket (no insurance) and the nurse said it might be too late by Monday for me to start a clomid cycle.
I am so upset that I might miss another month, they never ever told me that they DONT test on the weekends......does anyone go to a place that does testing on the weekends?

Re: Not open for testing on the weekend?
dr.B is open saturdays but not sundays. you should be able to do a "CD3" any day from 1-5. it doesnt HAVE to be CD3. i tend to make my appts on the earlier side, like CD1 or 2 even, to get started quicker. it def doesnt have to be CD3.

I'm so sorry that you may have to wait another month.
I am in the market for a new RE, would you mind FMing me the name of your clinic? I too need them to be available on weekends and holidays.

On thank god, do you think it will be too late on Day 5 to start a clomid cycle? The nurse freaked me out that I might miss out this month again.

Re: Not open for testing on the weekend?
I do my cd3 testing anywhere between CD2-5. Technically, if you got your period on Thursday day 1 would be Friday and Monday would only be CD4

Where do you go? This would bother me that I would run into future problems while trying to cycle with them
