not eating enough...
What if I'm not eating enough? I know I am supposed to eat but not too much. My problem is I dont eat a lot during the day. Sometimes going without breakfast, a small lunch then dinner. Is this bad??? If so, how? For me? for baby? for both?

Re: not eating enough...
you should be getting in an extra 300 calories each day. i dont think it really matters WHEN you eat it, but more the quality of the food you are eating (don't eat a 300 calorie dessert, but get in more nutritious calories) are you hungry or nauseous during the day? eating every few hours is really good for you and the baby

Re: not eating enough...
I know what they say, but you do what you can when you can. I had HORRIBLE hyperemisis with Emmy and lived on Tuna sandwiches, necturines, and Coca-Cola for 9 months. I DID NOT eat healthy. I just couldn't keep anything down. SHe was born 4wks early, but was a respectable 5lb2oz. I delivered early due to uterine issues. With this baby I do the best I can as well. I still have hyperemisis and no desire to eat at all. I try to snack on small amounts of fruit, granola, and whatever. He is growing just fine. The point is that I take what they say with a grain of salt. Do what you can....baby will take EVEYTHING they need from you and you'll be the one wasting away and tired. Not baby. I swear my 1st tri lived off of Tortilla chips and salsa. baby still grew just right!
