Re: north wantagh - levittown SD
Two of my cousins went there and both loved it. I know that levittown SD did have some problems last year with getting the budget to pass, but other than that I think those schools did pretty well in the recent 2009-2010 # report

Re: north wantagh - levittown SD
That's where we live...The elementary is East Broadway on Seaman's Neck Road...I actually grew up in Levittown & went to all the same schools (not elementary) & was so happy to buy in this area. We are here almost 6 years & the community is great. Lots of kids & the neighborhood is so clean & people really take pride in their houses...

Re: north wantagh - levittown SD
We r in south Levittown and are zoned for those two schools. Danielle also works at SALK. I love the area and I believe the elementary school would be gardners avenue

Your elementary school will depend on where you live in North Wantagh. Some kids go to East Broadway, some to Lee Road and I believe some may even go to another one I can't think of the name (it's in Levittown) It's a very big SD. You should fine out which elementary school you'd be zoned for.

Re: north wantagh - levittown SD
I know that people love East Broadway and Lee Rd schools. I do a lot of work in Forest City (zoned for Lee Rd), and people who live there liken it to a private school.
The other elementary is Gardiner's Avenue. That is west of Wantagh Avenue and north of North Jerusalem, on Gardiner's Ave. East Broadway is east of Wantagh Ave (on Seaman's Neck Rd.), and Lee Rd. is in the Forest City neighborhood (west of Wantagh Ave and east of Oakfield Ave, between Jerusalem and N. Jerusalem).
Always call, though, to find out what elementary you are zoned for (as previous posters said), because the lines can be drawn a little weird (and change)!

Re: north wantagh - levittown SD
Can't speak for the elementary school, but I have 2 kids in MacArthur now and they went to Salk and Gardiners and I have been tremendously happy with all 3 schools. My 3rd will start gardiners in2013!
