North Shore vs. LI IVF Help
I'm sorry for all my recent posts on same subject, but I feel utterly lost at this moment.
If I do decide to leave North Shore (bc of IVF cost), I think it will be to go to LI IVF, as I have friends who have had success there as well.
So opinions on the two for IVF?!
As a side, I'm PCOS, anovulatory, and DH has slight MFI
TIA!
ETA - I have a consult set up with Dr. Brenner at LI IVF

North Shore vs. LI IVF Help
I like Dr. Brenner. Thanks to him, I have my DS! The office is very organized, the nurses are nice and Dr. Brenner will make himself available if you need him. We have MF issues and the embryology lab is great. Good luck!

This - dr brenner is very sympathetic as well as honest. After our mc he went out of his way to help and support DH and I
I go to lake success office and I love Vanessa and Lauren

If they are both the same success and you have an issue with financial then go where that is best for you. There is no reason to break the bank for the same success rate.
Go with your gut. I have had success with NSUH and thankfully my insurance paid most of it. Did you look into applying for those programs that give discounts?

I decided to leave NSUH because of the ivf cost. With the same stats I got pregnant twice at rsny and it was 1/5 the cost. IVF is a business so go with the place where you will get the same results for cheaper. I also tried to "negotiate" with NSUH before I left but it didn't work. I also have insurance which pays for 75% of ivf.

I have my final iui scheduled tomorrow, my left follicle was 27mm this morning! I met with the financial lady at NS today and she said there's some room for negotiation but they won't be able to match the 1500 quote from li Ivf.
I am meeting Dr. Brenner next Monday and I will need to decide by the 30th of July.
How fast does an Ivf cycle start with a new dr?

Lake success- he will call you within a day and make an apt as easy as you need one as well
We had a MC and he went above and beyond being supportive
The nurses as well.. What office are you going with?

Depends on time of day- you can take the LIE to the melville rte 110 exit
you only do your ACTUAl treatments there- everythign else is in Lake success
what time on monday? i have my beta tested then :)
