How is the fit: small for size, true to size or big for size?

I think it depends

I felt like it was small for size. I needed an xtra large. But I also have broad shoulders and wide upper body w small waist. So the large “fit”. It xtra large allowed for more comfort. If you’re evenly sized, whatever size you normally wear might work.

Thanks for the input. There is a North Face store not too far from my office, so I'm going to stop in and try on both sizes.

I have the North face Metropolis and I find it true to size with a bit of room. Meaning I wear the small, but can still wear a heavy sweater underneath it.

I find them to be true to size. I have several different styles. Definitely worth trying on if you can since everyone is shaped differently (like the pp said).

True to size for me. I’m usually a small, but I have bought a kids XL to save some money lol.

True to size for most part, but I have long arms and i find the arms a tad short.

I think they run a little on the small side, particularly with the kids sizing. I feel like the length and sleeves run a little short.

My parka ran small especially the ar8m length but my fleece was true to size.
