Re: Normal Cycle Length
Did you just come off of BC? This might be the reason that your having longer cycles. It may take a few cycles to regulate.
Personally I had a 28 day cycle before DS. After DS I had a 30 day cycle. Then I had a MC and now my cycles are like 32 days.

Re: Normal Cycle Length
Nope! I haven't been on birth control for over a year now. Ironically, this past week I have actually felt like I was ovulating!!!! The doctor said last month (after 47 days) that 1 irregular period is normal. Now it is happening again and it's is extremely frustrating when your TTC lol!

Re: Normal Cycle Length
I'm typically 26-28 days. I have a fairly regular cycle - but I have never been on BC so maybe I"m not a good benchmark.

Re: Normal Cycle Length
I haven't been on it for over a year so I am pretty sure the BC isn't even a factor being that I had regular cycles for at least a year prior to these past 2 odd months. I have never wanted me period so bad!!!!

Re: Normal Cycle Length
Are you stressed about something? (Besides not getting AF).
Right now my cycles are all over the place b/c I came off BCP in May: 51 days, 36, and this cycle was 39 days. Pre-BC, I think I was 30 days. However, when I was a student, I would always skip a period around finals--stress was to blame!

Re: Normal Cycle Length
Just getting AF....obviously TTC it isn't the best situation to be getting a period every 47 days (last month)! So that is stressful but I didn't start stressing until I got over CD32.

Re: Normal Cycle Length
Unfortunately, even the most "regular" woman will have times when she has a longer or shorter cycle. Stress, travel, etc. can all be a reason why your cycle is longer. The important thing is to figure out when in your cycle you are Oing because then it doesn't really matter how long it is (although of course that is VERY frustrating) since you will know your fertile time.

Re: Normal Cycle Length
My normal cycle is very long. 16 days after ovulation... before is variable. Whole thing has been 39 days this year (as I was carefully counting).

Re: Normal Cycle Length
Mine are on the short side, usually 26 days. ITA with LoveyQ, though. There are a lot of reasons why some cycles are irregular.
