My twins 5th bday party is a week away.

Luckily most people did RSVP

There are 3 that did not from their preschool class.

Would you send a note home with them to follow up? I don't have their email address or phone numbers

Also one of the girls grandma works at the school...Would you ask her to ask her son?


I don't really Need a final count but just want to finalize the goody bags

I just had this. I sent a note in for their bins. Unfortunately 3 out of the 5 still didn't respond.

Im going thru the same sh*t , waiting on 4 responses. Im grateful most did rsvp. At this point im just making a goody bag. Trying not to lose my cool hahahahah.

I did not follow up but I did make extra goody bags in case a couple of the non RSVP ones did not show up. surprisingly only one from school did not RSVP (I had family who didn't which is just more annoying and rude) and they ended up doing it 2 nights before. they said they forgot to but their son would love to come but understood if they couldn't of course I told them he could come.

Actually I assume the number of bags based on invites then add from there. I invited 20 ended up making 25 bags. Altho I think I go kinda cool on the bag stuff, it's never crazy expensive.

extra 3 is easy

I usually count unknown siblings LOL

I've always sent home a little reminder note in the backpacks. Usually that does the trick.

I assume no response means no. I only follow up if it is a kid that my child really likes.

For three kids I figure they aren't coming but, throw in some extra goody bags just in case. If it was more than 3, I would follow up.

For my son's last party - I was able to do it via Punchbowl and I thought it was great - you can see if people see your reservation and send reminders (but, it only works if you have email addresses).

The no response ones don't show in my experience.
I never do goody bags (I'm against them & the kids have never missed them).

extra 3 I assume are coming - I never do personalized goody bags for this reason. You ALWAYS have someone who said they are coming and then last minute can't make it, someone who didn't RSVP, someone who brings an extra - etc.

I am going through this now. Last day to RSVP is today and I didn't hear from 3 people in my son's class. So annoying!!!

I'm assuming they aren't coming. I bought a package through the place that includes goody bags, so I can't have extra on hand if they show up.
