Noisy sleeper?
I'm wondering if other babies do this...
James will be fast asleep, but make all kinds of noises, like he's getting ready to cry, straining to go poop, whimper, coo, try to clear his throat, etc. He is not awake at all - this goes on all night. He doesn't really do it during the day when he naps, just overnight in his bassinet.
Thoughts?

Re: Noisy sleeper?
oh yeah...this is very normal. Riley is crazy noisy when she sleeps. She grunts, whines, cries, snorts . Even during naps (if she makes it past a half hour that is). She also moves a lot too.

Re: Noisy sleeper?
totally normal.
Mason will sound like he's making squeeking noises in his sleep. Oh, and all kinds of facial expressions too. Now that he's been stuffy he sounds like he's snoring a bit.

OK, so he's not a freak
He moves a lot as well - always flailing his arms and kicking his legs. He'll scoot from the top of the bassinet where his sleep positioner is to the bottom, so his head ends up where his butt should be.
He's making a liar out of me - as I'm typing this, he's napping in his swing and totally noising (that's what DH and I call it )

Re: Noisy sleeper?
Oh yeah. DD is quiter when she's awake then when she's asleep. I think i'm going to start sleeping while she's awake!
She didnt really do this that much at the beginning. She'll be 8 weeks tomorrow and i just really started noticing it about 2 weeks ago. I put the white noise machine on for all of us to sleep better!

DD is a noisy sleeper too. You have to hear her moan, whine, sing, hum. It is so adorable.

Re: Noisy sleeper?
yes, my DD is so loud! I always say to my DH, thank god we got the video monitor because if we only had the audio, I would be running to her every 2 minutes!
