Noah Vincent is here!!!!!
On Friday, June 4th- i had a feeling all day that something was not right. i was losing my mucus plug and just had a general overall feeling of bleh...
so the phone rings at 4pm and it is a school that i have been interiewing at. they wanted me to come in on monday to meet with the deputy superintendant. i was so excited.
and then my water broke! i called the emergency line at my doctor's office and one of my ob's was actually on call. so i went to the hospital and sure enough it broke.
i had just finished eating dinner when all of this happened so they were not sure if i would be able to get the c section. i had gestational diabetes and other issues this pregnancy so i knew i was not having a vbac which i was fine with.
i ended up with a c section later in the evening and by 947 pm we had a healthy little boy, 5 lbs 2 oz!!!!
i will post pictures later...but he is so adorable!! hannah has been so intrigued by her little brother....hopefully she will continue to be in "awe" and be okay with the changes!!!
i am trying to breastfeed and the last 3 days were terrific. he was latching and totally getting it, but i realized today that his latch has been off because my nipples are ridicously sore and cracked.
i am able to get a breastpump covered by insurance! and hopefully i will be able to continue with the breastfeeding once the nipples are healed... i actually just gave him his first botte of BM before...i couldnt stand the pain anymore...
etd to add that i was able to reschedule the interview
