no progress at 39 weeks, anyone BTDT?
Today at 39 +1 there is still no progress going on with me (baby has not dropped, no dilation), just wanted to see if anyone who has BTDT or know someone who has, progressed all of a sudden after being told at 39 weeks nothing was going on? I really don't want to be late and induced. TIA!

Me! When I was pg with DD1, I spent 4 weeks at 1cm w no other signs of progress. I not a happy camper at my 39w appt. Went into labor on my own at 39w4d.

I had the same thing and went into to labor exactly on my due date. Don't lose hope yet!

I was only 1.5cms dilated and 50% effaced when I went into labor both times! You just never know.
ETA: neither of my DD's had dropped either!

I was at 40 weeks nothing happening. I was induced. I have to say it wasnt terrible. At least I knew going in I was having a baby and I hear that some people actually go into labor once they get scheduled. Anyway good luck. It will all be fine

From everything I've read, how dilated, effaced, etc, you are means nothing about when you will deliver. I had a friend who was 4cm dilated for 2 weeks before she finally went in to labor, other people I know were 0cm dilated, not effaced, and have baby the next day. Try not to stress about the numbers too much
