No news = good news?
I had my 16 wk AFP test last week. They haven't called me with results.
Did your office call you with your AFP results?
Can I assume that no news = good news?
I don't know why I am always so nervous about getting test results back.

When's your next Dr. appointment?
My Dr. had told me we would discuss the results at the appointment following my bloodtest.

Re: No news = good news?
I just had mine 2 weeks ago. I haven't heard anything. I'm guessing the dr. will go over it at my next visit.

Re: No news = good news?
We went over the results at my next appt. Though I remember her saying at the appt when we had it done that if there was any need for her to call me before then she would. So I would say you can relax.

Re: No news = good news?
I turned down the test this time, but with my DD, they just told me at the following appointment since all was normal. I think with a lot of doctors no news is good news.

I am not a fan of this policy. I always like to "hear" the results. I have been burned in the past with this sort of policy so now I always want to HEAR the results.

Same. I call as well. You can give you dr a call for the results.

Re: No news = good news?
My dr always tells me that if she does not call then that means everything is ok but that does not sit well with me so I always call and hear from her that everything is ok. I went for my 16 weeks on Sat (when I was actually 17 weeks) so in about a week I am going to call her to hear the results.
