No longer STTN?

DS is 4.5 months old. We had been STTN (10 hrs.) until about 2 weeks ago. I thought it would get better, but its getting worse. Last night, he was up 3 times! I thought maybe teething, but he seems ok. I give him bottles and he gulps them down, so I guess he's hungry, but he's getting more during the day now and even started cereal - I thought that would keep him fuller. Is this a growth spurt? How long does a growth spurt last? His naps have gotten a bit screwed up lately - so maybe that's affecting his nighttime sleep too?

Any advice is appreciated - Momma is tired!

Could be the 4th month sleep regression...if you do a search on here, you will find tons of posts.

It may be a growth spurt, or a new developmental milestone. My DD was horrible for 2-3 weeks and then went back to sleeping through the night.

DS is 5 months tomorrow and he had a 4 month sleep regression right after turning 4 months. He is getting a little better, but we are still up at least 1-2x a night with him. He also gulps down bottles, but I don't see how he could be hungry. He eats a lot during the day, more than he probably should at his age.

DS did the same thing as soon as he started solid foods. He started getting up 1-2 times per night.

I figured he was taking in fewer calories during the day because he was eating fruits and cereals - I nursed and could not be sure of how many ounces he was drinking.

For him he settled in with getting up once per night and that lasted until 8 or 9 months when he started sleeping through the night again.
