 I totally understand. I've been trying since May. I used to feel a pinprick whenever anyone announced, now it feels like a punch in the stomach.

i feel the same way sooo often. im on cycle 11 with a recent chemical. i teach in an area where too often i encounter children who were "unplanned" and even more in foster care....i just dont undertsnad sometimes and just feel upset for myself....you are not alone.

you are not a horrible person. you are human with emotions.
I felt the same way too... for a LONG time. It's a natural feeling. And though you are happy for the person, it's hard not to feel sorry for yourself. Sometimes I would hear of a friends BFP and although I was happy for them I would cry for a few minutes. It was just how I reacted to it.
TTC is a very emotional process. And your time will come too. Though when it does, someone else might be feeling as you do now... it's just how the cycle goes. Good Luck. I hope you get that BFP soon!!

Well said! I completely agree! It's a very emotional process. I'm only on month 1 of trying and feel like I'm on a rollercoaster of emotions so I can only imagine how many of you feel after so many months. Try to stay positive and know that everything happens for a reason. One day you will look back at this moment in your life and it will all make sense

Please know that you are not alone, I feel the same all the time. I am surrounded by pregnant women. Between work and family my heart keeps breaking more and more every cycle. I know that it will happen I just wish I knew when!!!

Its very normal. You are not horrible. While I was TTC, everyone I knew became pregnant. It was unreal and while I was happy for each and every one of them (even though a few were "surprises"). I still could not help but think "why not me??". It was very emotional and I cried a lot too. I knew it wasnt going to be easy but I didnt know it was going to be so hard. I finally got my BFP on month 5!

Don't feel this way at all!! You are not selfish you just have feelings and it's totally normal. I felt this exact same way, even seeing BFP's on this board made me so sad sometimes (happy for them but sad for us). I even felt guilty posting about my BFP because I knew that there would be someone out there feeling the same way I felt in the past. Hang in there.
