Night time diaper trouble....my side sleeper leaks through everything........

.....so DS side sleeps mostly now.

He is 23 months.....almost 37 inches and almost 30 pounds. He is wetting through whatever I try but ALWAYS on his sides.

I have him in size 6 Pampers for daytime. He has a long torso so I always need to upsize WAY sooner for him.

I've tried Huggies Overnights....we were into the size 6 but that is not helping.....they don't go bigger.


I tried Pampers Baby Dry Size 6 with Diaper Doublers. That leaked.


Who makes an absorbant size 7 that might help?

Any other suggestions? I am despeprate

Make sure that his penis is pointing down. Every single time my DH puts my son to bed he wakes up wet. We realized his penis wasn't facing down. Solved the problem!

You could try double diapers at night. That is what we do. I cut a slit in the front of one down the middle and put that one on first and another one over it.

Hmm....What about some pullups? I think that the huggies brand pull up makes an overnight version.

I should have mentioned I ALWAYS point it down Learned that the hard way a week in when all day he would do is whiz all over his clothes

Nicki...I think I am going to try the pull ups because maybe they are wider & will stay put better & not shift

I have a belly sleeper(girl) that was peeing through everything too. We did OK with Huggies overnights a size too big for a while, but then it started again. I switched to up&up(target) brand for day time and forgot to put a nightime diaper on her one night and she woke up dry So I did it the next night and the same thing. So we now only use regular Up&Up all the time. She wakes up dry 95% of the time.

what about a huggies overnight over a regular diaper. overnight 1 size up?

okay this may sound ridiculous, but my son was the same way... skinny legs.

Instead of putting the tabs directly across as you would normally do, put them in a V instead. It makes it tighter around the legs. Make sure you pull the diaper tight on the sides before doing the V with the tabs.

We went through the same thing with DS. We used the diaper booster pads from BRU. I wrapped it around his waist on the side he slept on. It went from his tushy around his hip. It did help. I then made sure his diaper was snug...
