Newlywedd & TCC?
hi,
i'm wondering if anyone was ttc soon after they got married? I'm DYING to have a baby NOW. now keep in mind, that we just got married and we do not own a home and I have not completed my bachs. degree.. all of which I swore up & down that I would complete before having kids... but here I am married for 43 days and I want to start now.
to be quite frank, we tried 2x on our HM and 2x since we've been back and nothing.
is this nornal to have baby fever so soon?

Re: Newlywedd & TCC?
yes i think its normal...IMO there is never a "right" time to start a family...just depends on when your both ready i guess... I def wanted a house and a good job first...got the house and the job, now I want to finish my masters which I'm starting in the fall....but I told DH we can start TTC next yr...at least i'll have one yr of grad school behind me...and since I work in a school if I have a baby during the summer it will work out that I won't miss any work or school time
ETA: going along with my there is never a "right" time line...If I was to find out I was preggo tomorrow we would both be thrilled! good luck!

Re: Newlywedd & TCC?
I suppose we started when we were newlyweds. We are older (36) and dont own a home. I cannot and will not wait until we can buy to TTC. DH and I both finished our multiple degrees years ago, so we do not have to worry about completing educational programs.Time is not on our side and now, DH and I are having difficulty getting PG.
That being said, you have to do what is right for you. Do not allow other's decisions and opinions influence your best judgement. Some people are hell bent on owning a home before their first child is born and some are destined to be apartment renters and/or dwellers or live with their in-laws indefinitely. Everyone's situation calls for different things.

Re: Newlywedd & TCC?
We just got married 3/24 and we started trying right away...we dont own a home we rent. I always go with there is never a right time...something could always be better in your life, but there is no sense living with that stopping you from moving on with things that you want to do! I say if you and DH are on the same page go for it! there are always ppl that are going to tell you you shouldnt be doing something the way you are but its your life!
