New TTC
Hey everyone!
New here - hubby and I have been TTC since our Feb wedding. I have hypoestrogenism of "undetermined origin" and haven't ovulated on my own for well over 5 years (I'm 36). So, I'm a regular fixture over at NSUH repro center. We just did our 2nd IUI (with clomid 50mg) yesterday, so my 2WW has begun!
How do you all get through these 2 weeks?? I want to be hopeful and positive but not so excited that I get bummed out so much if I get a BFN.
Also, on a related matter....anyone else doing Clomid? I usually have enviable skin and now it looks like I'm 16 years old again! My entire freaking chin and around the jaw area is just a mess. I know it will all be worth it in the end, but I kinda just want to hide right now. Of course, TTC, I want to stay away from my retin-a cream. Bummer.

Good luck to you!!!
RE the clomid, check on the IF board, there are a lot of women on there who have been through clomid cycles and the board tends to be much more active and they are very helpful.

Welcome!! No experience with Clomid to speak of, but as pps said, check the IF board. I hope your IUI is successful!

I didn't have any reactions to Clomid- just really bad hot flashes. I did get the "teenager" skin after going off birth control though.
