New to ttc...
Hello... I have been lurking for a bit but decided to finally post. I stopped the pill in January and didn't get my period till April. Now I am on cd31...still nothing. My doctor said to give it another 2 weeks and then they will do blood work and a sono to test for pcos... although she thinks its probably my body just readjusting. I was on the pill for 10 years and never really had time to regulate it prior to that ( I was a late bloomer). Its just frustrating because I have no idea about my cyle. Thank you for reading... I'm sure I will have many questions but thought I would start with this.

Welcome and yeah life after bc is not fun. My body freaked out and it took about 3 months for it to get back to what is considers normal.

You are going to have an adjustment time. You have been putting a drug in your system for so long that you body needs to get used to not having it.

my first 2 cycles after stopping BC were 39 and 37 days but then the following 2 cycles i didnt ovulate! i had cycles over 60 days long...that's when i went to the Dr. i dont think your cycles are that long...maybe it is just an adjustment period?

Welcome to the boards. Hope your stay is short. Your body def needs to time to adjust. My body took at least 3 months to go back to somewhat normal.
