New to the Home Board!
Hi everyone,
DH and I are starting to look for houses!!
It's exciting and overwhelming at the same time!
Any advice for someone just starting out?
Should we get a realtor?

Just wanted to say welcome!
I'm not the greatest at giving advice but from my experience:
Narrow down on towns you're interested in
Check school districts
Check comp sales
Don't rush!!
My hubby and I have been looking for a couple of months.
Good luck with your search.

hey Dana!!! glad to see another familiar face on the home board!! what town/ area will you be looking in?
my advice is this.......in this market, if you see anything you like low ball your offer! sometimes people are afraid of losing a house they love so they bid higher than they have to, we went in with a really low offer (since it was a fixer upper) and we just negotiated back & forth.
