It hasn't happened for us yet either, but just all the great news is getting me sooo excited...and positive!

us either!! Just heard that due to the interest rates being low and housing cost going down, mortagages were up 30% last month!!!

I was all for housing prices to come down, but if mortgage rates stay this low, i dont see them coming down too much more.

I don't think starter homes are going to drop much more- but the higher priced homes are-
but your right- if you are planning on staying put- it doen't matter- I am locked into my lease until Oct - so I am just sitting here waiting
ETA- my dream house in westchester is still for sale on craigs list- let's hope it stays that way until Julyish
