New mom...desperate for advice...
DD turned one month today ( ). A major problem we are having is that she HATES being in her carseat/the car/stroller. I try to put her in the carseat immediately after she falls asleep nursing, and she will still wake up SCREECHING once the car or the snap and go starts moving. Sometimes she will vomit too. Maybe it's motion sickness?? Or just a fussy baby? She won't take a pacifier and I really don't want to force it on her. I'm desperate for advice as I have 6.5 months maternity leave and don't want to be afraid to drive alone with her.
TIA!!

No experience with the carseat problem, but my DD wouldn't take a pacifier in the beginning but we kept on trying, now she loves it. Keep trying different ones, we use Avent.

ditto on the pacifier! we use Avent now too, its the only one he takes. I suspect he started taking it when he started teething.
As far as carseat, DS hates it, but as soon as it would move, he'd totally mellow out, and often fall asleep. Getting him in the car seat is usually terrible, but once he's in and moving he's fine. IDK about vomiting in it, something I would def talk to your ped about.
Try putting her in there and just carring her around, maybe she just needs to get used to it?

All I can tell you is that my DS would scream and cry for things like riding in the car, stroller, or even taking a bath. Then one day it all magically stopped. Just hang in there!

This was my son exactly. I was soo upset. Then I realized that he needed to feel more secure, so after I strap him in, I tuck a receiving blanket around him nice and snug and now he barely makes a sound in the car. hth.

Make sure you are burping her well before you put her in it.
