new mom formula question
I have been giving DD Enfamil nursers but they are almost done. I have both Enfamil powder and Similac but I dont know which to use and if i go from Enfamil to Similac do I have to mix them for her to get used to or is it ok to just change?

Re: new mom formula question
You don't have to mix them together. You can just switch. But if she is doing good on enfamil then I wouldn't switch.

I agree with the PP, if LO is doing well with Enfamil then stick with that. You dont need to mix the formulas though...pretty much the same ingredients.

If she isn't having any reflux problems with the formula that you are giving and she doesn't seem to dislike the current formula then I wouldn't switch or try out any of the samples you have. You can donate the samples to your Ped office.

I agree with this. We had the same thing our DD was started on enfamil while in the hospital. I ended up giving a good $100 to $200 worth of free samples of other formulas that I had received in the mail to our local church. I knew that what DD was on was okay for her and it felt really good to pass on the formula to others who might need it

Re: new mom formula question
I wouldn't try a different kind (gentlease) unless she has reflux issues. My DS was super fussy and gassy and when i gave him gentleease, it made him even worse, because he didn't have reflux
if your DC is on the enfamil newborn nursettes, i would stick with the powder version of it. As another said, if it ain't broke..
