New here and frustrated!
Hi ladies, I don't usually post on here but I am so frustrated. DH and I are not actively TTC but we are also not preventing pregnancy. We've been doing this for months and nothing has happened. I am so frustrated and worried but at the same time I haven't been tracking ovulation or anything so I know that has decreased our chances a lot. I am thinking we need to start actively trying. What would you recommend to track ovulation? Thanks for letting me vent!

OPK's or the CBEFM. I prefer the CBEFM but its pricey as are the test sticks but I find it to be the most accurate. You can buy it cheaper (and brand new) on eBay.

i find temping to be the most accurate and cheapest. then once you have a temped for a few months and are pretty sure of your O date i would invest in a OPK. good luck!!!!!!!!!!

Re: New here and frustrated!
I was in the same boat as you!! Let me tell you TTC is very addicitve once it sneaks up on you I would suggest reading the book "taking charge of your fertility". I thought that since I had regular cycles and was never on BC pills that I knew everything there was to know about my body. This book is very informative and will help you decide which method of TTC works best for you. I started out just watching my cycles on "my monthly cycles" and using their predictions for O. Then I moved on to OPK's. My problem is DH thinks all of the "trying" methods take the fun out of it and he would rather just "let it happen" I'm a bit more of a realist so I understand that its not always so easy. I think the most important thing for you to do now is to make sure you understand your cycles and go from there.
