New here! Also w/ a question :)
Im excited to join you all and this board! I was on liweddings as a 2007 bride and have posted here and there but Im finding myself here everyday now! Im due August 13th. I also have a question about sono appointments. I know its a personal choice but was just wondering how many have invited their parents or inlaws to them. My 16 week sono is Monday and was just curious

DH has come to every single one so far. We work in the same building so its easier for us and the hospital is 5 mins away. For the NT scan I invited my inlaws and I saved the best for my parents lol they will be at the anatomy scan.

oops.. I didnt even think of this.. prob because my bro invited my parents to his anatomy scan for the first kid and it didnt go well .. they got upsetting news which ended up being fine in the end but my parents felt horrible and everyone was upset so I figured I would just go with DH for all of them which ended up going great! My dad did come to a fetal echo with me so that was cool!

My mom came with me for a sono with one of my older kids. My mother in law always offers since my husband works far and can't always come, but I haven't taken her up on it.

My DH is always allowed. Other than that, no parents or in-laws. This is just a personal choice DH and I have made.
We can take video on our phone and get tons of pictures each time, so if they want the experience of seeing their grandchild, they can see her that way.

My dh comes with me but since I have sonos nearly every week, he can't make ALL of them so he comes when he can or if it's an important scan. I told my mom she can come later on in the pregnancy. This is her first grandchild and I know she will be so excited to see the baby on the screen. She will not be coming till MUCH later in the pregnancy though.... I would only feel comfortable with someone other than my dh if I was CONFIDENT that there would not be any issues arising at the sonos. Early on (like before the anatomy scan) there's still a lot that's unkown.

Only DH comes. We received scary news at our 20 week and I'm glad no one else was there. It's a completely personal choice.

Welcome!
DH doesn't want to keep having to take off work so for my 12 wk on Monday my mom will be coming. I figured this will be ok since we don't get any results at that exact moment.

CONGRATS!!!!
I had my mom come to my Anatomy Scan but that was only because DH couldn't come due to work and my sister happened to tell us the gender the week before. Other then that, only DH will be coming to sonos. Our 3D sono will be on a DVD and we will show everyone another time.
