New here!
I'm in hiding because I don't want anyone to know that I'm ttc. I went off the pill two months ago and had one normal period, only a day late then I normally get it. This month, I'm now 5 days late. I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant. Can anyone tell me if this is normal? I'm only concerned because my first period after coming off the pill was right on schedule and now I have nothing. Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated as I have no idea what to expect! Thanks in advance!!

Re: New here!
Welcome! I'm hiding too!!
The only thing I can offer, being somewhat new to all of this myself, and a hopeful first time mom, is that one you start TTC, your body just plays tricks on you.
I'll give an example. I was having very regular cycles for months, so regular that I felt comfortable traveling for work because I should have been in the safe zone with our trying schedule and 2WW. Well, my body goes and extends my cycle far beyond what I had counted, and then I was away when we should have been BDing. I was afraid that would happen, and of course my fears came to fruition. Figures. Anyway, just saying once you go into TTC mode, whether you are stressed or relaxed, you body has a mind of its own! Good luck though and I hope your stay is short!
Are you a first timer?

Re: New here!
Sometimes it takes a few cycles for your body to regulate itself after coming off of BCP especially if you were on it for a long period of time.

Have you tested? The month that I went off the pill DH and I DTD ONCE and I got pregnant. That said, mrsm-2011 is absolutely right, it can take anywhere from 3 months to 1 year for your body to readjust after going off the pill. (That pregnancy ended in an early mc.)

New here!
Thank you so much everyone for your responses! This is my first time ttc ever. I was on the pill for a long time (11 years) so I figured it would take me a while to be regular. I'm just a worrier about everything so I'm prob overthinking everything. I already took a test and it was BFN. So I guess I should be expecting AF to be abnormal for a while. Thanks so much!!
